CLA Health Team

In Wandsworth, there is a dedicated Nurse and Doctor for children looked after. They can help you with any health issues you may have. This may include answering questions about physical health, sexual health or mental health.

It is their role to promote health with children and young people looked after and ensure children and young people have access to a statutory annual health assessment. This sounds long, but really it is a check to see you health needs are being looked after properly. For example, that you have a dentist and a doctor, that you are up to date with all your immunisations (injections) etc. This health assessment is carried out every year.
