CLIP workers
Sometimes it's hard to do well in school when you have moved around a lot or just joined a new school where everyone else seems to have lots of friends.
If you think it might help to talk to an adult who isn’t your carer or your social worker and that this could help you get on better in school you might be offered a CLIP worker.
These are people who have lots of experience working with children and young people - often as youth workers. They can take you out, talk to you about what might be troubling you at school and help you find ways of dealing with difficult situations.
To find out more, ask your social worker or call 0208 871 7351 to speak to a member of the CLAESS team. |
