TrainingMulti-Agency Training ProgrammeThere are a range of training opportunities available to staff and volunteers working with children and young people in Wandsworth, as well for those working with adults who are parents or caring for children. There are different programmes which you will find useful depending on your role and responsibility. The courses we offer are categorized according to the requirements in Competence Matters, a framework for multi-agency training developed by The London Safeguarding Children Board. More information of the different categories for training (groups A, B or C)
EventsSafe Network - Free WorkshopsSafe Network is a joint development between NSPCC and Children England and is funded by the Department for Education to provide advice and guidance on keeping children safe, to organisations in the voluntary and community services sector. Working in partnership with Children England it has a remit to take a much broader prespective on keeping children and young people safe, and focusses on four keys areas that impact on children's safety. These are:

For more information on when and where these will take place, click here: FREE WORKSHOPS LGBT History Month 2012The focus of this year's celebration to mark LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) History Month 2012 will be 'Challenging homophobia across Wandsworth', with a launch event being held on Thursday 2nd February at 3.30pm – 5.30pm, Professional Centre, Franciscan Road, London, SW17 8HE.
