Personal hygiene

You should always try to look after your skin, hair and teeth. This is called personal hygiene. You should always wash your body at least once a day, and you should brush your teeth twice a day.

You should wash your hair regularly too. You can use soap, bubble bath or shower gel to wash your skin. Some people have eczema or sensitive skin and have to us other types of washing creams.

If you have European hair you are more likely to have to wash your hair daily because it gets greasy.

If you have African-Caribbean hair you should wash your hair at least once every two weeks as the hair texture is different and it would damage it if you were to wash it everyday. You should make sure that you get the right products for your hair type and get regular treatments.
