What is a Corporate Parent?

Being a Corporate Parent means the whole Council taking responsibility for the quality of care provided to you. This doesn't just include Children's Service staff looking out for you, but officers from other parts of the council and councillors.

Ok, so what does this look like in practice. Its probably easy for us to say but what does it mean for you. Well, one way that we are hoping to become better coporate parents is by creating creating 'champions' for children in care.
